Do you even see what you’re doing here? You’re making the entire issue about men and their feelings… It’s like when someone says “Black Lives Matter” and a white person says “well, I’m not going to support black lives because in the past I’ve been told I don’t get to tell black people about their rights. BOO HOO.”

In the past week, I’ve found that people are constantly making false equivalencies. Saying “As a man, you just don’t talk about women” is a total cop-out. You all can do better, and that’s my point. Any argument that starts with “well, in the past when I’ve tried,” is just an excuse not to try harder to stand up for what’s right.

Imagine how hard it would be if I had to write about this all being unfair for men? LOL. Imagine how hard it would be if the default was that people discounted you and never took you seriously about anything, and told you that your life mattered less than a ball of cells.

You can’t compare men having hurt feelings with women actually being systematically oppressed. That’s not how it works.
