I don’t think that receiving these kind of pictures has made me flag people sooner or more. I think that as a culture, recognizing bad behavior means there are a lot more opportunities to hold people accountable for their behavior. Things that seemed “normal” to me several years ago now are such turnoffs that I’ll shut down a conversation. It’s not about red flags for me so much as about a basic level of respect that a lot of people don’t know how to offer.
