I understand what you’re getting at, but I still disagree.

The friend zone ISN’T a real thing. It’s a concept invented by people who want to act like victims because they aren’t getting what they want.

If you meet someone and don’t want a sexual relationship with them, but want to be friends, they’re just your friend. They’re not stuck in some un-deserved zone of denial. I’m not going to keep explaining why it’s not valid, because I already explained it in the original piece of writing.

It’s like antifa. Antifa isn’t a thing of a movement. Being anti-facist is just the normal way of being. Being a Facist doesn’t have an opposite thing, just like there’s no such thing as the opposite of racism. Antifa is a term made up by people who wanted a nasty-sounding word to blame problems on people who think something different than they do. The friend zone is a term made up by people who needed a word to blame their lack of romantic relationships on women.
