I’m going to be honest, I didn’t read this whole article. It’s hard for me to make it through rants about how a platform for writers is sexist. There are so many issues with what you’ve written. First off, men write personal essays and women write about technology. Your weird binary view of what’s for women and what’s for men is really misogynistic. Secondly, all you’ve posted for the last few days are personal complaints veiled as scholarly articles about how Medium should run. Thirdly, have you read Medium’s landing page or mission? They’re a website for writers, so if the writers here enjoy reading personal essays and experiences (which we obviously do), then they’re not doing it wrong. They’re doing exactly what they set out to do. If you don’t like the way Medium is, there’s an easy solution: stop writing here.
