“Too many people are obese”… for what? You say it is an epidemic but being fat isn’t a sickness. Being fat isn’t a disorder. You are judging people based on what they look like when you have no knowledge about their actual health.

Anorexia is always detrimental. It is an eating disorder. Alcoholism is a disease and addiction. You’re making false equivalencies.

Also, do you see someone having a drink and think they are disgusting, that they are dependant on alcohol, that they are obviously unhealthy? Probably not. When a friend has a smaller than normal portion do you assume they are anorexic and tell them you are concerned about their diet? Not likely. Yet people do that to fat people constantly then offer them advice about what they should do and how they should be under the guise of being “concerned.”

The idea that by asking not to be treated like shit because I am fat is “crying about it” is ridiculous. I’m not asking for special treatment. I’m asking for a baseline, average treatment.
